6 Ways to Make Your Car More Comfortable - Vol.18

It is that time of the year again, the time when you and the family pack up and head out on the great American vacation. This can be one of the best experiences in your life or can become a nightmare on wheels when you head out onto the road. There is good news though, there are things that you can do that will help to ensure that you have as pleasant of a trip as possible when you head out onto the great vacation. These tips will make your road trip one that you can look back on for a long time to come in the near future. These are tips that are not hard to implement and many times will not cost you that much money. Many times the only thing that is required is a great imagination and a willingness to make your car as comfortable as possible.

The first rule that you will need to make sure that you keep in your mind, is that cars are for the most part are not designed to be comfortable, and when you add kids to the equation things get to be quite dicey. So since comfort does not come standard, remember this first rule. Add to that rule this second part, make it a point that you know where the rest stops are located on your route. Nobody wants to be that person who bought the giant 100 ounce beverage, and now needs to go to the bathroom like crazy. This can be an uncomfortable feeling and will more likely lead to a stop on the side of the road where the person will have to answer the call of nature. So make sure rest stops are clearly marked on you map, this will save a lot on comfort and allow a person to not experience a side of the road trip to the bathroom.

Pillows, pillows, pillows. This point cannot be stressed any more than this. It is a vital tip that you make sure there are plenty of pillows. The reason for this is simple. There will be a time when you will have a person who will doze off in the car. They will wind up with jello neck as they will find their head resting on the window in the back seat. With plenty of pillows, the person in question will more likely have brain damage from their head bouncing off the window. A Pillow allows them to at least be comfortable on the trip.

Be sure to walk around whenever you stop the car. Walking around will help to ensure that you do not end up getting out of the car after 8 hours looking like a retarded ostrich trying to walk. Walking around whenever you can will help you from becoming stiff and having a hard time walking around. This also will help in preventing you from being in discomfort while in the car. You will be glad you listened to this one piece of advice from this article.

Make sure that you have music that you like with you. Unlike when you were a kid, there is a way that you can have all your favorite music with you, the MP3 player allows you to bring hours of music with you. The best part is unlike tapes or cd's, you do not have to listen to the same song over and over during the trip. Many MP3 players allow you to listen to hours on hours of music and rarely repeat the same song twice.

These tips will go a long way in the making sure that your trip is a comfortable one and that you have the best trip that you can. Remember that cars are not by their nature very comfortable, but with a little work and patience, you can have the best experience that you can have while touring the country.
