Q1What is FOB & CIF?

FOB (Free On Board) = Car price + Custom clearing and transportation cost in Japan.

CIF (Cost, Insurance, and Freight) = Car price + Insurance (Warranty) + Freight (Shipping) cost.

Q4What does the warranty cover?

For Buyers Who Purchased With The "Extra Warranty" Option, The Following Apply:
No claim shall be accepted unless;

  1. 1.
    For engine and transmission problems, the number of miles driven of the vehicle is less than 150,000 km.
  2. 2.
    Exterior damages such as Rust or Corrosion;
  3. 3.
    The Buyer notifies the Seller of any claim in detail, and in writing, within fourteen (14) days after the arrival of the vehicle at the destination specified in the Bill of Lading (Landing Bill);
  4. 4.
    The Buyer sends to the Seller the following documents via e-mail, (or facsimile), within seven (7) days after the notice set forth above is sent:
    • the port authority's report on any damage or missing items of the vehicle;
    • a reputable local garage's report and quotation in U.S. dollar currency for repairs
    • and photos of relevant damages.
  5. 5.
    The Seller Shall Not Be Liable For Any Of The Following:
  • a.
    Interior damages that are judged as minor, negligible, or invisible, including without limitation, scratches, cigar burns, stains and cuts);
  • b.
    Exterior damages that are judged as minor, negligible, or invisible, including without limitation, scratches, tiny dents, holes or rust
  • c.
    Any consumables including without limitation: batteries, oil, fuel, tires, belts, brake parts, windshield wipers, valves, air-conditioning gas, filters, fluids, etc.

  • For Other Buyers


    1. 1.
      No claim shall be accepted unless all of the following requirements are met:
      1. a.
        The Buyer purchases the vehicle with the Warranty option;
      2. b.
        The price of the vehicle purchased is above US$1,500.00;
      3. c.
        The claimed damage(s) are above US$300.00.
        (The Buyer shall bear up to US$299 as repair cost per vehicle);
      4. d.
        The age of the vehicle is less than 10 years;
      5. e.
        For engine and transmission problems, the number of miles driven of the vehicle is less than 100,000 km.
      6. f.
        Exterior damages such as Rust or Corrosion;
      7. g.
        The Buyer notifies the Seller of any claim in detail in writing within 14 days after the arrival of the vehicle at the destination specified in the Bill of Lading; and,
      8. h.
        The Buyer sends to the Seller the following documents via e-mail, (or facsimile), within seven (7) days after the notice set forth above is sent:
        • the port authority's report on any damage or missing items of the vehicle;

      4. d.
        Exterior damages that are judged as minor, negligible, or invisible, including without limitation, scratches, tiny dents, holes and small rust; or
      5. e.
        Any consumables, including, without limitation: batteries, oil, fuel, tires, belts, brake parts, windshield wipers, valves, air-conditioning gas, filters, fluids, etc.

    Q6How do I receive a Proforma Invoice?

    The Proforma Invoice is sent after submitting your order, by clicking on the, "Order this Vehicle," button.

    Your Proforma Invoice will be also sent to you by email.
    An additional option is to print your invoice via the "My Account" option.
