Mega Web Theme Park - A Toyota Experience - Vol.362

The Mega Web theme park is located in Tokyo, Japan, and they have a slogan that would best translate to "come, feel and ride". The whole attraction was created by Toyota, the world's largest automaker in 2016. Despite the fact that the Japanese giant's stamp is all over the Mega Web, it's all more than a simple car show.

It has plenty of that in the three facilities, but visitors will also find a movie theater, a racetrack, a whole floor dedicated to the newest creations of the company, including concept cars that cannot be seen anywhere else, and of course, a great gift shop as well! As the company likes to put it, at the Mega Web Park, people of all ages can find their fun.

You Can Try the Newest Models
The best thing about Mega Web is that it's not simply a car show or a theme park, but a bit of both. On top of that, you can also try the company's newest models. There are not many car shows around the world that allow the audience to try their latest designs, and Toyota offers you that opportunity, which is probably the most appealing aspect for adult car enthusiasts.

The Chicago Auto Show did something similar last year, but it was more of an interactive display, where the audiences were allowed to climb a wall with a jeep, under the watchful eyes of a professional driver.

The Mega Web is different in that it allows the audience to drive a little more freely, and more importantly, on a longer track. In addition to that, there is a corner where Toyota displays its latest technological designs, where the visitors can see what the Japanese giant will put into its cars in the upcoming years. Toyota is a very tech-savvy company that puts a huge amount of money into their technological features like computers and sensors, so this attraction offers a chance for tech-minded enthusiasts to get a bang for their money.

A Racetrack for Kids
At Mega Web, it's not just the adults that can experience what it's like to drive one of Toyota's creations, as there's also a go-kart racetrack for kids. Those who arrive here with children, often end up at the 754-feet long track, where they can root for their little one while they compete against other kids. Minimal Japanese language skills are recommended, as English instructions are not always available. The racetrack and the go-karts are extremely safe, and every participant wears a helmet.

Interactive Movie Theatre
At the Mega Web game and entertainment center, there is a movie theater that provides visitors with plenty of interactive fun. The seats are on a large platform that moves in sync with the scenes on the film, creating the illusion of being in the picture. It's great fun for adults and children alike, and the movie selection includes the latest titles released in Japan.

Vintage Show
The Mega Web car show and theme park is famous for its versatility. The audience members can try the latest models, but if they want to see the oldest, most prestigious vintage cars built by Toyota, they can do that as well. You can see all the famous models going back to the 1940's, all restored to vintage condition. Because of that, the "Restore Pit" is one of the most frequented attractions of the Mega Web. It is a whole corridor created for those who want to see marvels like the Standard Sedan AA, the 2000GT, or the Land Cruiser FJ40, one of the Japanese company's first off-road creations.
