For Tanzania, Kenya, clients

JAAI inspection required!

What is JAAI (Japan Auto Appraisal Institute) inspection?

JAAI was established in 1966 under the approval of the Ministry of International Trade and Industry and the Ministry of Transport in Japan.

Kanya and Tanzania government requires JAAI inspection for the vehicles to be imported to the countries.

Inspection will be arranged by AGASTA before shipment.
This may take up to 10 days depending on how busy the inspectors are.
Booking of your vehicle for shipment will be arranged once the JAAI inspection is completed.

Please pay the JAAI Inspection fee of US$300 at the same time of payment for your vehicle.

Without JAAI certificate, consignees will be required to pay 30% penalty of the CIF value.



For Mozambique clients

MOZ number required!

Mozambique clients are required to:
Apply for Intertek Inspection in Japan before shipment.

To apply for Intertek Inspection in Japan

1. Please apply for MOZ number at your Local Interek office.

2. To apply for MOZ number you will need the invoice with the Engine number indicated which will be issued from us, AGASTA.

3. Once you have obtained MOZ Number please send to AGASTA by e-mail or FAX

4. AGASTA will apply for Interek inspection in Japan before shipment

This may take up to 10 days depending on how busy the inspectors are.
Booking of your vehicle for shipment will be arranged once the Intertek inspection is completed.

When you remit money

Please arrange payment with the Engine number indicated Invoice, once it is issued.
We will reserve your car and proceed inspection upon your payment.



For Malawi clients

Contact the Malawi Embassy in Tokyo!

For easy and smooth payment transaction, please transfer the fund from:

  • The Reserve Bank of Malawi

  • You may be requested to contact the Malawi Embassy in Tokyo in regards to confirmation of your payment application.

    For Caribbean clients

    Correct street address required!

    Please note that your street address will be required since the U.S. Governmentfs Department of Homeland Security does not allow imports of vehicles for clients with just their P.O. Box address in the Caribbean.

    Ensure that your street address is correct when you fill in the order form.
    And we can book your vehicle for shipment and prepare the shipping documents accordingly.


    For clients importing through Durban port

    Correct street address required!

    Please note that your PO Box address alone will not suffice. A street address is required and the South African Government for vehicles being imported via Durban port.
